Favourites win at Heiligenblut
682 runners run the first WMRA Grand Prix race in Heiligenblut / Austria. World Champion Jonathan Wyatt (NZL) beat the new European Champion Marco Gaiardo (ITA) by a comfortable half a minute and these two were well clear of the rest of the field. Anna Pichrtova dominated the women’s race, beating last years Grand Prix winner, Izabella Zatorska by a massive 10 minutes and placing 15th overall in the race.
