The World Mountain Running Association have now opened applications for the 2022 World Cup series.

 

Looking ahead to 2022, WMRA World Cup Manager Justin Maxwell said “Following a successful 2021 World Cup, I’m excited to announce that applications for the 2022 series are now open.

In 2022 the WMRA will add to the support already provided to race organisers and athletes.

I feel that together with the athletes, race organisers and our partners we are in a fantastic position to further enhance the profile of Mountain Running and the World Cup. In 2022 I’m focused on making the World Cup experience memorable for everyone”

Any race organiser interested in applying to be part of the 2022 series should read the World Cup regulations, as well as Appendix 9 (World Cup Associate Race) prior to completing the application form (Appendix 1), all of which can be found here.
