Running Championships
The WMRA has worked, since 2021, in partnership with ITRA and IAU to deliver the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships, firstly in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2022 (postponed) and secondly in Innsbruck, Austria in 2023.

The third edition of the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships (WMTRC) will take place in Canfranc-Pirineos, Spain, between 25-28 September 2025.
