2006 World Cross Country Championships in Fukuoka (Japan)

Mountain runners competing for their country in the IAAF World Cross Country Championships put in some fine performances last weekend (April 1-2) in Japan. When looking at their positions remember that the leading places were taken up with Kenyans and Ethiopians.
In this table I have shown their latest World Trophy position, class (SW=senior women, etc), followed by their World Cross Country position and class (SML=senior men long course, SMS=senior men short course, JW=junior women, etc)
